We recently worked with a client who declared themselves to be “lost”. They said “we sort of know what we are meant to be doing”, but our vision feels too unreachable and so we are not focused or motivated”. The most powerful thing we did with this client was to spend time with them revisiting their vision, their mission and their values. We facilitated a process where everyone in this large organisation participated in the process in some way. The results were impressive – morale visibly improved, people could see how their work related directly to the company vision and mission, organisational commitment and energy levels were higher. People felt motivated to deliver great results for their organisation because they had rediscovered their genuine stake in its success.
