We recently worked with a client who said that they knew what work they were meant to be doing, but their vision felt too unreachable so they had lost focus and motivation. The most powerful thing we did with this client was to spend time with them revisiting their vision, their mission and their values. We facilitated a process where everyone in this large organisation participated in the process in some way. The results were impressive – morale visibly improved, people could see how their work related directly to the company vision and mission, organisational commitment and energy levels were higher. People felt motivated to deliver great results for their organisation because they had rediscovered their genuine stake in its success.
